Picked this up a while ago. It is THE BEST virtual instrument I have ever played or heard. If you can swing, their Total Studio package is the best value going. SampleTank, Syntronik, B3X, Sampletron, and the incredible effects of Amplitube and TONEX and TRacks are unbeatable IMO

This is software at the end of the day, and you are charging 100 dollars for it. You realize you would make exponentially mlre money making these captures affordable. You have an infinite supply. But you stop your sales because you are pricing it so ridiculously. I would buy this for 30 dollars tops. You dont think i could get a marshall capture that sound almost identical to those setting anyway? U are pricing these captures more then a highly developed video game. How long did it take you to capture this? A weekend? Jesus, losing my respect IK. Im a huge fan of the tonex, but come on. Stop being greedy. This us software.

This pedal sucks. Factory captures are jank. No effects loops. Over priced trash.

I love Joe he makes everything sound great!!! I hear something weird in the high end and can instantly hear that its not analog but if you play awesome that's all that matters.

Can we buy this for the pedal? My pc can't handle the software it's too slow

I’m absolutely struggling. I can’t get any sound out of my IRIG USB. I’ve followed all the steps and even followed the troubleshooting and still nothing. It doesn’t even register a guitar is plugged to it

I love that we live in an age where the technology exists to do this kind of stuff and that it's being used in such a manner. It would truly cost a fortune to get all the gear out there to play like your favorite players...this is the next best thing. Now, if done "right", we can get the tones and amps from an artists, whole career (or choice moments in it). It's more than just sounding like Joe Satriani, it's a preservation of his legacy as a guitarist. I think all of the greats, should have their amps and various pedal set ups, tone mapped and made available through things like the Tonex and via VST software. There's no down-side to it for me.

Please do the same thing with Jimmy Page :)

Can these be loaded into the ToneX One?

I have the JVM 410HJS, and that amp is an absolute monster. It's very hard to get a good tone without pushing it, and when you do that' make sure you are standing far enough away, and I'm not talking about a lot of volume. People who own this amp know this. I am so glad that I ended with this model. It has a unique structure "deleting the reverb in lieu of the gate control. You can't just use this amp on any stage, And Joe Satriani has demonstrated this.

I have the iOS Tonex app for iPad, can that be used with the tonex one?

This is counter intuitive to how the hardware has been being released. But a rack unit of the tone x would be welcomed in my studio.

I wonder what his perspective is on the contrast between the modelled tones and the live sound in the room when they were captured. It's really not the same thing, and as a live player I'm not sure I want the mic'ed tone instead of the live sound from a cabinet. They're both awesome, but there's a big difference between hearing a recording played back through a monitor and the sound of a guitar into an amp and cabinet straight to your ear.

I have Amplitube 5 v2 that has the free tonex. Does this give you the full Tonex software or do you have to buy Tonex before you can use this collection?

Another cool collection. I really like where IK Multimedia is going with this; making captures of rare amps like these, especially, is a really good thing if you ask me.
